The best way to get a head start on bulb onions' long growing season is to begin with pre-started plants. Onions grown this way can get ahead of the weeds, bulb up and keep much better than store-bought "sets."
We're pleased to offer top quality onion plants grown, harvested and shipped to you directly from our onion grower in Texas. These fine family farmers have been producing onion transplants since 1913 and are widely recognized experts in onion culture.
Your vigorous plants will ship just after being freshly lifted from the growing fields. Don't worry if they seem pale looking on arrival – they'll green right up after planting. Onions are sold in bunches of approximately 5 dozen plants for big harvests of firm crisp bulbs.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
Onion plants ship separately from seed packet orders directly from our grower in Texas from January – April depending on your climate zone. Orders ship via USPS Priority Mail, please allow 3 to 5 days for delivery.
Due to Idaho restriction, we cannot ship to the following counties: Ada, Bingham, Blain, Boise, Bonneville, Canyon, Cassia, Elmore, Gem, Gooding, Jefferson, Jerome, Lincoln and Madison. Due to Oregon restriction, we cannot ship to the following counties: Minidoka, Owyhee, Payette Power, Twin Falls and Washington. Sorry, we cannot ship onion plants to Canada.
