Ranunculus blossoms look like perfect little China roses or petite peonies with multilayered tissue-thin petals in exquisite rich colors. Our jumbo-sized Tecolote Ranunculus corms were originally bred exclusively for the cut flower market with extra big blossoms and intense color. A favorite for bridal bouquets and floral arrangements, each lovely flower blossom has many layers of overlapping petals – like a floral Filo pastry!
These flowers make a spectacularly lovely display, really shine in bouquets and are beautiful long-lasting vase flowers. Grow where you’ll see the flowers from a window, or plant in pots for glorious spring color on your patio or near your front door. Corms are shipped in fall, ready to plant in your zone. In early spring, each corm produces vigorous rosette of leaves, followed by an abundance of iridescent, satiny blooms that dance in the wind. You’ll love them!

We recommend Ranunculus corms to customers in the milder winter climates of USDA zones 8-11 where the ground does not freeze hard. In these warmer climates, they will flower readily in spring and then go dormant to naturalize and bloom hard again the next season.
Ranunculus Planting and Care Guide
We do not guarantee Ranunculus in USDA zones 3-7 where winters are too cold for them to thrive. Find your USDA zone by ZIP code on this USDA interactive zone locator.
