Beauregard

Bred at LSU in 1987, Beauregard is the standard by which other sweet potato varieties are judged! These large, elongated tubers have copper-red skin and sweet fine-grained orange flesh with a moist, almost creamy consistency and delicious rich flavor.  

Beauregard is great for baking whole or sliced up for crispy oven fries. This versatile variety is also our first choice for making scrumptious pies and other sweet potato desserts and treats. Beauregard produces good yields in a wide range of conditions, has excellent disease resistance and can be relied on to store well to enjoy over a long period.
