Purple Majesty has deep purple skin and intense purple flesh that retains its color in cooking, making it a showstopping dish at the table! Its vibrant deep color makes these beauties naturally high in the cancer-fighting antioxidant anthocyanin, so they are highly nutritious as well as scrumptious.
Purple Majesty has dry sweet flesh and is great simply roasted or baked. It performs well in both hot and cooler season areas, producing good yields of colorful, tasty tubers that are also well adapted to sandy soils. This fine variety was bred at NCSU and is resistant to Fusarium wilt.
